Feel the need for some excellent landscapes in addition to some sort of activity and fresh air? A Hiking Holiday within The Eden Valley not far from The North Pennines may well be exactly what you need!
The Eden Valley is a lush and bountiful area and good hiking country with a lot of paths available. Much of the countryside is actually farmland, together with open fields bordered by hedgerows and dry-stone walls. It's also near by the Northern Pennies which has a distinctive awe-inspiring landscape of higher moorland and also broad upland dales. You'll discover a number of interesting reminders of the mining and industrial era, as well as some unique birds, animals and flora.
We did 3 day hiking journeys, the first to High Force as well as Low Force falls, the second about the town of Appleby-In-Westmorland and the 3rd at High Cup on the Pennine Way within the North Pennines.

My return hiking holiday to St Ives Cornwall with Holiday Fellowship (HF) Holidays was again a fabulous time for me. In 2009 we did itinerary 2 and had such a great experience that we decided to do itinerary 1 this year. We had a choice of three day hikes each day on this hiking holiday.
The HF Holidays' Hiking Leaders were great. During the day hiking they guided us in a caring and considerate way, and also pointed out places of interest. During the evening they socialised with the hiking guests or provided forms of entertainment.

Article - Hiking Books & Camping Books - About Kindle eReader For Reading Outdoors And Indoors
Do you love reading outdoors? Some people say they do not like to read outdoors but prefer to concentrate of the reason for being outdoors, like sunbathing or people watching or whatever reason. However for some people, part of their reason for being outdoors is that they enjoy reading in the open air. Some people do not like reading outdoors because there is too much glare reflecting from the pages of books and they do not like to wear sunglasses. Others prefer to leave books at home and keep their books in prime condition. I'm sure there must be a lot of other reasons.
e-Readers like the Kindle make it easier to read outdoors or when away from home. You can use the Kindle eReader to read at home, in the garden or whilst on holiday. You can read wherever you want and have a whole library of books available.
