Video - Cornwall Walking Padstow Hiking Trevone on the South West Coast Path England UK

Cornwall Walking Padstow Hiking Trevone on the South West Coast was about 7.5 miles in distance and undertaken in May 2011. Myself and my partner Anne did this hike whilst on a Cornwall hiking holiday. We drove from our holiday accommodation in St Teath to the starting location of Padstow Harbour long stay pay and display car park.

This was great hike on the South West Coast Path, initially beside the River Camel, passing the Doom Bar, famous for its stories of a lovesick mermaid. The terrain was mostly along narrow footpaths; a few steps and short ascents; peaceful fields and meadows and quiet tracks and lanes. However, check the weather forecast before you set out as there can be very high winds that make the route hazardous. This route was circular in an anti-clockwise direction with three legs and is suitable for people with a moderate level of hiking ability.
