Cornwall Walking Tintagel Hiking Boscastle on the South West Coast Path was about 9 miles in distance and undertaken in May 2011. Myself and my partner Anne did this hike whilst on a Cornwall hiking holiday. We drove from our holiday accommodation in St Teath to the starting location of Tintagel main street pay and display car park.
The outbound leg of this hike is along an specially stunning section of the South West Coast Path. The hike is worth doing just for the coastal section alone. In addition, along the inbound legs there are also charming sections across fields and meadows and the attractive wooded St Nectan 's Glen. You can also take a small diversion to the Hermitage Tea Gardens to view its waterfall. As extras, there are the options of exploring the ruins of Tintagel and the very attractive fishing village of Boscastle. This is a demanding hike, but very worthwhile.
