Cornwall Walking Trebarwith Hiking Delabole on the South West Coast was about 5.5 miles in distance and undertaken in May 2011. I did this hike with my partner Anne whilst on a Cornwall hiking holiday. We drove from our holiday accommodation in St Teath to the starting location of Trebarwith Strand valley pay and display car park.
Although not a demanding route; it had one steep descent and two steep ascents along the coast leg. The return leg back to Trebarwith Strand included a steep rocky downhill path that could be slippery when wet. The terrain is varied with coastal paths; quiet country lanes; paths over fields and meadows; and a variety of stiles. This hiking route was circular in an anti-clockwise direction with three legs and is for those hikers with a moderate level of ability.
